“ I stopped in at Kathy's this morning and had a wonderful breakfast. The place still has that mom and pop restaurant feel to it. I had the country fried steak with 2 eggs, cubed potatoes (they do hashbrowns and slices as well) with some buttered white toast. The country fried steak was tender, and although the breading didn't perfectly hold on to the steak, it was crispy and delicious. I had it with the sausage gravy, and I can not stress enough how perfect it was. Really savory with a good amount of sausage crumbles. They cooked my eggs just right when I ordered them over medium. They used just the right amount of salt to add flavor without overpowering them. The diced potatoes were cooked well but didn't have a whole lot of flavour by themselves. But they did pair well with the extra gravy I had leftover from the steak. They buttered they toast well and it was a good golden brown. All in all, it was a fantastic start to my day and for a fair price. I believe 12 is a steal of a price for this meal. ”
